“Hello —Lee here. The official line is “I’m The Children’s Gardening Coach”but really that just means I get the privilege of helping kids, families and teachers reconnect with nature, slow down, and grow something together.

For the past 13 years, I’ve worked with schools, families, brands, and communities across the UK and beyond, using gardening as a tool for confidence, wellbeing, creativity, and connection. Along the way, I’ve ended up on CBBC’s Blue Peter, hosted a Sunday Times–top-rated podcast, become a bestselling author, and spoken everywhere from school fields to Parliament.

Most recently I’ve been creating incredible attractions around the world, blending nature, art, and storytelling. From projects here in the UK to experiences in Japan, my work is all about building places that spark curiosity, creativity, and real human connection. I’m really glad you’re here, and I hope something we create together stays with you.”

Filming across the globe, my documentaries have taken me from community gardens and school playgrounds in the UK to ambitious, imagination-led projects in Japan, where nature, design, and play collide in incredible ways. Along the way, I’ve helped get tens of thousands of children gardening in just one week, capturing the energy, chaos, joy, and impact that happens when young people are given permission to grow. My work has also seen me flying into Netherlands and across Europe, exploring new ideas, learning from different cultures, and bringing those inspirations back home to create meaningful projects across the United Kingdom. These films are about people, possibility, and what happens when communities come together around something hopeful.

Got time to watch? Here are two of my favourites that shows different sides of my career..

At the core of everything I do is a simple belief: inspiring and educating children, families, and teachers to get growing, gardening, and caring for nature. Whether it’s through schools, media, live shows, gardens, or storytelling, my work is all about making gardening feel accessible, joyful, and meaningful for everyone. Over the course of my career, I’ve inspired and engaged more than half a million children and families, helping them build confidence, connection, and a lasting relationship with the natural world.
