At School Gardening Success, we understand the pressures teachers face in today’s busy and ever-evolving education landscape. That’s why we’ve created a complete, accessible support platform designed to make gardening simple, achievable and impactful in your school.

From structured digital lessons and step-by-step growing guides to wildlife projects and ongoing expert support, School Gardening Success gives you everything you need to confidently embed gardening into school life.

Led by Lee Connelly, The Children’s Gardening Coach and the UK’s leading voices in children’s gardening, with experience on CBBC’s Blue Peter and BBC Teach, the programme is built on over 13 years of practical classroom engagement.

Whether you’re starting from scratch or looking to grow your existing garden further, School Garden Success empowers teachers to inspire children through grow your own, biodiversity and real-world environmental learning.

Lee sought a unique and memorable way to introduce the exciting features of the newly launched School Gardening Success Plan. His chosen method? While racing down the street in a soapbox, of course!

After working with schools across the UK, meeting tens of thousands of children on national tours, and serving as a school governor, Lee understands the realities schools face.

Budgets are tight. Pressures are high. Not every school can afford to invest heavily in equipment just to get started. But what Lee also knows is this: teachers are passionate. They want to grow. They want to bring nature into their classrooms. They want their pupils to experience the benefits of gardening, biodiversity and growing food.

That’s why, from 2026 onwards, the digital programme of School Garden Success is completely FREE.

Every school, teacher and home educator can access the structured guidance, lesson support and step by step framework needed to successfully embed gardening into school life without financial barriers. For schools that would like practical support to get started more quickly, we offer optional equipment bundles, carefully designed to match the programme and make implementation even easier.

You can explore the different bundle options below and choose what works best for your school. Because gardening should be accessible to every child, not just the schools that can afford it.
